Instructor: Certified Canadian Red Cross Instructor

Languages:English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Eligibility:

  • Age 15 and up
  • A valid Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid certificate. Participants must present certificate before registration and bring their previous Standard First Aid Certification card to class (Recertification cards will not be issued if previous card is not presented)
  • Pre-study at home of previous original training materials before attending the class

Passing Requirements

  • Writing Exam – 75%
  • Participation – 100%

Certificate

  • Certificate is issued by Canadian Red Cross
  • Standard First Aid and CPR-C certificate (valid for 3 years)
  • Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid (SFA) and Emergency First Aid (EFA) received approval as meeting the equivalency of Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1 from WorkSafe BC
  • First Aid students will receive their certificates via email from Canadian Red Cross around 2 weeks after passing the examination.

Content

This 1-day recertification is a challenge of the Standard First Aid and CPR Level C course content and requires the student to demonstrate essential skills as well as pass the theoretical exam. This challenge is open to those who have a valid Standard First Aid certificate from Canadian Red Cross. The training in the refresher courses is shortened in length because the participants are expected to remember some of the skills and knowledge from their original training.

Candidates who complete the recert course will be successfully recertified in their Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification for an additional 3 years. Standard First Aid Recertification is also an equivalent award to OFA 1 and is recognized by WorkSafe BC to be used in the workplace.

  1. 課程至少需有8位學員才開班。課程如有更改,將提前五個工作天發出通知。
  2. 加拿大中信(以下簡稱CCM)可能會更改上課地點為列治文或本拿比辦事處,並會提前至少5個工作天通知客戶。
  3. 於報名時繳交費用。
  4. 取消及退款政策
      • 4.1 中信可能因為參加人數不足或意外情況而更改課程日期或取消課程。中信將會至少五個工作天前發送電郵給客戶通知有關安排。客戶可以選擇參加其他課程或全額退還課程費及設備費(如適用)。
    • 4.2 客戶可按以下條件申請取消或更改所報讀課程:

       

      申請取消
      上課日前28天或以上申請取消:扣除行政費用$15後,可退回已繳費用餘額。
      上課日前2-27天申請取消:

      扣除行政費用$25後,可退回已繳費用餘額。

      如提供證據(例如:醫生證明或處方單)以證明申請原因為健康問題,行政費用將會豁免。

      上課日前1天或當天申請取消:

      不能退款。

      僅在提供醫生證明, 且屬特殊情況下才會受理,但仍需扣除$25行政費用。
